Introduction
CEERI Knowledge Resource Centre(KRC) is well-equipped with all resources in the form of books, journals, standards, patents, specifications, reports etc. KRC is committed to provide world class information-support to its users. KRC is located adjacent to the main institute building.
KRC has a collection of more than 40,000 documents. The collection mainly includes electronics and its allied subjects. The centre makes use of information resources and provides the most comprehensive access to e-Journals, e-Patents etc for the benefit of its scientists, officers, and other users.

Collection
CEERI KRC subscribes to a good number of foreign and Indian Periodicals. KRC has a rich collection of books on science and technology, which includes electrical and electronics engineering, electron devices, semiconductor devices, electron tubes, mathematics, physics, process control, integrated circuits, MEMS, sensors, telecommunications, management, computer science, etc.
It has e-Collection on e-Journals and e-Patents.
Floor Plan
KRC is located in a separate building adjacent to the main building of the institute. The floor wise arrangement of the KRC is as follows:
- Ground Floor
The entire book collection is housed on the ground floor. Important newsletters and annual reports are displayed in the lobby area.
- First Floor
Current periodicals, bound volumes of periodicals and reference books are housed on the first floor. The office of the incharge-KRC, periodical section, Internet Facility, reference section and photocopier room are located on the first floor.
- Basements
Discontinued and very old volumes of periodicals are stored separately in the basements of new auditorium building.
Membership
All regular employees, project staff and student trainees are provided with membership facility.

Photocopying
The photocopying facility is provided for KRC publications.
A job request form is filled for photocopying. The Form is available in KRC.
- Job request should be given for KRC publications only.
- Project Leader will give request on behalf of other staff.
