Mandate
The Sensor Testing and Characterization Laboratory is established to support the complete evaluation of sensor devices under controlled and application-relevant conditions. The lab focuses on electrical, thermal, environmental, and material characterization of sensors and related systems. It enables performance validation, reliability assessment, and sensor calibration across different domains such as gas, pressure, temperature, and material sensing. The facility bridges the gap between device fabrication and real-world deployment through an integrated testing infrastructure.
