About the Venue

Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani, a constituent laboratory of CSIR. The foundation stone for the establishment of CSIR-CEERI National Laboratory of CSIR was laid on 21st September 1953 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru at Pilani. This National Research Laboratory was established to give impetus to research and development of electronics in the country.

How to reach CSIR-CEERI, Pilani

CSIR-CEERI, Pilani is about 1.5 km from Pilani Bus stand. Here is some important information on how to reach Pilani.

Travelling by car/taxi from Delhi: Distance is 190-220 km depending on route taken. The journey duration is about 4.5 hours. There are various routes to Pilani depending on your place of start in Delhi.

  • Delhi-Bahadurgarh-Jhajjar-Dadri-Loharu-Pilani.
  • Delhi-Manesar-Dharuheda-Rewari-Mahendra Garh-Satnali-Loharu-Pilani.
  • Delhi-Manesar-Dharuheda-Rewari-Narnaul-Singhana-Chirawa-Pilani.
  • Delhi-Bahadurgarh-Rohtak-Bhiwani-Loharu-Pilani.

Travelling by bus from Delhi: In case you prefer to travel by public transport, you need to catch a bus at the Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT), Sarai Kale Khan (Most of the buses are available for Chirawa) or from Dhaula Kuan, Delhi. There are frequent buses to Pilani starting from Delhi around 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

Travelling by train from Delhi: Trains from Delhi Sarai Rohilla railway station to Loharu (24 km from Pilani) take about 3 hours. Check the railways time-table for train timings for your day of journey.

Travelling by car/taxi from Jaipur: Distance is 230 km and takes about 5 hours. The road route is Jaipur-Chomu-Reengas-Sikar-Nawalgarh-Jhunjhunu-Chirawa-Pilani.

Travelling by bus from Jaipur: In case you prefer to travel by public transport, you need to catch a bus from the State Bus Terminal (Sindhi Camp), Jaipur. There are frequent buses to Pilani starting from Jaipur around 4:00 AM till midnight.

Travelling by train from Jaipur: Trains are available from Jaipur to Chirawa (16 km from Pilani) or Loharu (24 km from Pilani).

Note for participants: Taxi service will be provided for all the participants from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi to CSIR-CEERI, Pilani by the institute. Every participant will be accompanied by a CSIR- CEERI’s volunteer at Delhi airport for their guidance throughout the journey from the airport to Pilani.
