Dr. Sumitra Singh is principal scientist in semiconductor sensors and microsystem group, CSIR-CEERI. She has been awarded Ph.D. from DAVV, Indore in 2010. She is having over 16 years of research experience. She has published and presented more than 60 papers in reputed journals and conferences in the field of GaN/InGaN LEDs/Solar cells and flexible sensors.  Her area of interest includes Graphene based flexible electronics, Nano biosensor, Organic semiconductors, thin film solar cells, III-V semiconductor devices. Presently working in the area of flexible electronics for human health monitoring and robotic application.

Project completed on “Fabrication of Silicon Carbide Power Diodes” funded by RIC-DRDO and “Development of new generation nano metal-oxide/graphene-polymer composite materials for use in wearable electronics” funded by CSIR. Ongoing Research project on Development of Graphene Based Flexible and Wearable Strain Sensors for Prosthetic Hand Application” funded by SERB (Power Grant).

 

She is life time member of Metrology Society of India (MSI), Optical Society of India (OSI), Indian Physics Association (IPA), Semiconductor Society of India (SSI), Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE).
