Awards/Fellowships/Recognition

  1. INAE Young Engineer Award: This award has been given to me for my contributions in the field of plasma assisted microwave and sub-THz source in the year 2021.
  2. Raman Research Fellowship: This fellowship has been granted in the year 2019 to me for carrying out research in the emerging / high priority technology areas at overseas country (Duration:04 months).
  3. CSIR Young Scientist award: This award has been given to me in the Engineering Sciences for my contributions in development of pseudo-spark based high current density electron beam source and slow wave oscillator in the year 2018.
  4. Buti Young Scientist Award: For my doctoral work on “Optimization Studies of Pseudospark Sourced Electron Beam for Development of Plasma Assisted Slow Wave Oscillator” in the institution category by the Plasma Science Society of India(PSSI) in the year 2017.
  5. Best Paper award during VEDA-2010 and VEDA-2012
  6. Selected for Best Paper award (Final round) for the work on “Technological Development for X-band Plasma Assisted Slow Wave Oscillator (PASOTRON)” in IEEE-IVEC-2013 held at Paris.
  7. Recognized as Golden Reviewer of the journal IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices for the Year 2020

  • As a Director of the school, I have organized the DST-SERB school on Plasma Devices: Science and Technology at CSIR-CEERI, during December 04-22 December 2017.
  • As a scholar’s coordinator, I have organized the 2nd PSSI-National Plasma Scholars’ Colloquium (PSSI-PSC-2013) along with one-day national workshop on plasma devices technology during 22-24 July 2013 at CSIR-CEERI Pilani.
