Dr. Kuldip Singh received his M.Sc. & M.Tech. degree in Physics & Opto-electronics from Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University Kanpur (1998) SGSITS, Indore (2002). He has received his PhD degree in Physics from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. He joined the CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani as a Scientist ‘B’ in 2005. He has more than 20-year experience in design and fabrication of III-V compound semiconductors-based devices like laser diodes, p-i-n photodiodes, GaAs hall sensors, GaN LEDs (blue, green, UV, red etc.). He has published over 75 research papers in various reputed journals & conferences. His current area of research includes GaN mini-LEDs, micro-LEDs, h-BN detectors, Blue, Green GaN LEDs, GaN UV-LEDs, SiC Schottky diode, GaN, SiC battery, Filters, DBR, 2D materials etc.
