Deepak Bansal

Dr. Deepak Bansal is working as a Principal Scientist in Semiconductor Device Design Group (SDDG) at CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani. He is also an Associate Professor at Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), India. He has received his Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from AcSIR, India and Master of Technology in Microelectronics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur in 2010.

He is involved in design, fabrication, and packaging of MEMS devices and leading the project activities on RF MEMS devices like switch, varactor, phase shifter etc. He has published more than 50 International papers in reputed journals/conferences. He has also contributed for two book chapters. He is a member of Semiconductor Society of India (SSI), Institute of Engineers India (IEI) and Institute of Smart Structures and Systems (ISSS) society, India. His research work is focused on RF MEMS Switch, packaging and 3D integration, Cavity and SIW filters, RF energy harvester, electromagnetic sensors, Quadrupole mass analyzer, Bolometer, DMDs, organic electronics etc.
