In association with Vigyan Bharati, Rajasthan, CSIR-CEERI, a premier institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, is set to host the ESDM Skill Conclave 2025 on 19th Feb 2025. This landmark event aims to advance skill development and innovation in lectronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and will bring together distinguished academicians, industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers. The Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, alongside Vice Chancellors, Directors of prestigious universities, and industry pioneers, making this a significant step toward shaping the future of India’s ESDM sector. This strategic conclave will address national priorities in ESDM, focusing on emerging technologies, industry-academia collaboration, skill enhancement, and workforce preparedness. Key discussions will revolve around India’s global positioning in electronics manufacturing, policy interventions, and the role of research and innovation in driving sustainable growth. With a strong emphasis on bridging skill gaps, enhancing employability, and aligning education with industry needs, the event will foster meaningful collaborations and inspire a new generation of innovators. CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani is a premier research lab of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Established in 1953, it has significantly contributed to the Electronics and allied fields, specifically targeting Semiconductors, Vacuum Electron Devices and Electronic systems for the societal and strategic sectors. Some of the major contributions from CSIR-CEERI include the development of Magnetron, Klystron, TWTs, crucial for various defense and space applications. The laboratory has also pioneered advancements in semiconductor devices, contributing substantially to the growth of India’s electronics industry. In recent years, the institute has focused on cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Smart Sensors. Through its continuous efforts, CSIR-CEERI remains at the forefront of technological innovation, supporting India’s mission towards self-reliance in Electronics and Technology. The Institute is conducting M.Tech and P.hD research courses in the field of Advanced Semiconductor Electronics, Advanced Electronic Systems and High-Power Microwave Systems Engineering under the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR).
