SUMMARY:JIGYASA Innovation Competition 2018
DESCRIPTION:About JIGYASACall for Innovation CompetitionAbout JIGYASA\n“JIGYASA” is one of the major initiatives taken up by CSIR at national level for further widening and deepening its Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR). On the one hand\, this programme would explain the culture of curiousness and scientific nature on the other. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)\, has launched a student-scientist connect programme “JIGYASA” in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathans (KVS); the sole objective of which is extending the classroom leaning and focusing on a well-planned research laboratory based learning. Under “JIGYASA” programme\, CSIR-CEERI is organizing various activities since July\, 2017 for students of nearby school including students from under-privileged areas in addition to KVS students. Workshop for students and teachers\, innovation competition\, open day activities\, outreach programmes\, science exhibition are some of the activities included under the programme at CSIR-CEERI. \nCall for Innovation Competition\nAbout \nCSIR-CEERI is organizing an innovation competition among the school students to promote their innovative ideas to solve relevant social and technological problems. The student teams (consisting of maximum two members) can submit their proposal online (through the registration link given below) which will be shortlisted and they will be able to present their ideas at CSIR-CEERI.
